Potty time is fun....

As soon as Caroline woke up this AM she said "Pee pee?" so I stripped her footed jammies down and she sat on the potty. Then she said "Book?" So we sat and read. And read. And sat. Forever. Of she didn't pee (does she ever?) but it was fun.

The wonder of the Butterfly II

So I finally got to use my Butterfly II out and about. The church nursery is a great place to try out carriers because all the babies love to be held. (Read:.....well, you can take that to mean whatever)

Anyway, today I had beautiful little Kaitlyn in it. She is five months old and was asleep in about 8 minutes. Love the new hood, too!

If there is anything cuter than a cloth diaper....

...this is it! A mini cloth-diaper key chain!

I just have to share this- a lady on DiaperSwappers make these and I think it's going to be a great conversation starter. It's a cloth diaper key chain!! It even has a pocket in the back. I'm going to make some sort of little "insert" to put in there so I can show people how they work...really!

....who don't care about my super-glued hands, here are some of Caroline! She is so cute during her bath.

Super glue and I don't mix. I was trying to fix a coffee mug that had lost its handle. Simple enough- cover the nubs on the mug with super glue and then hold the handle in place for a few minutes. It was one of those clean breaks- the handle fit perfectly on the cup- no little cracks or anything. You would never have known.


Except, when I covered the nubs in super glue I didn't see that the clear glue was running down the cup. So as I held the handle firmly in place, my fingers were being glued to the cup! It was like a movie! got all but one off in time. The last one (my pinkie) hurt and I got Michael to turn the hot water on and it came off.

The white is ALL the super glue. It's everywhere, and my skin feels like it has a huge callous on it.





My pink where it really stuck- ow!!


Wow- what a fun 15 minutes. Michael threw the cursed mug in the trash. What a sweet guy. Oh and in the fitting-the-handle-onto-the-mug part (before I got stuck) the handle slipped and cut a nice little place in the area between my finger and thumb. It bled like I had used a knife!

Happy Birthday Haircut
