Late-night shopping and sewing

Thanks to Aunt Laura, Caroline and I got to go to B-A-M for some new books. I knew exactly what I was looking for, and I found some great deals.

Later this evening I had some time to sew. I started out working on some slings for several friends of mine. Let me just say it was the worst night of my sewing life. Needless to say, there are no pics of me almost in tears or beating my sewing table. Sorry- maybe next time.

However, to help me feel better I did a little work on a project that I'm so excited about. I'm trying to make some momma cloth for a very good friend of mine. Yep, not only am I weird enough to cloth diaper but I also use other reuseable items!

It was SO fun and easy. And they're soft! I might have to steal it instead of send it. I can't wait to perfect the pattern and try some more fabrics and options.
