A few firsts today....

Caroline did a few new things today! First, she ate with a spoon by herself. That was at lunch. She had cottage cheese with fruit, which was a good first try because it's fairly thick and sticks to the spoon.

To get this "smile" I had to ask to see her teeth. Which is another first- she has TWO molars!! I had no idea (I know, bad mom) until I was tickling her this this morning and saw them.

Then at dinner she ate spaghetti (succesfully) for the first time. She also drank cow's milk for the first time. And (it just never ends) she signed "Dada" after dinner. Wow!

Unfortunately, she also busted her lip for the first time. :-( No pictures of that, but she's such a trooper that I didn't even know she had hurt herself until I was looking at her mouth. It's not bad, though.
Then another uh-oh in the tub when she fell backwards while she was playing. She got so scared but stayed strong and kept playing.
Now's she sleeping and I'm off to sew again!

Ahahahah I love your bibs... ..

How did she do with the cow's milk? I bet she could handle whole milk - all the hormones in it would probably help her grow! (I'm not sure if that came out right. In fact, I'm pretty sure it didn't.)

I was wondering when she would start boo-booing herself. I guess it's inevitable with her rapid development right now! Keep lots of neosporin handy!

I love her two little front teeth!
