New diapers and a movie

For all of you who are interested in my diapering adventures, I have a new quest: to try prefold diapers. I bought this kit from Cotton Babies and it just came today. I'm really interested to see how this goes. There are two reasons I want to try PFs: 1) to have as a back-up for when I forget to wash or there is some emergency and 2) to use for baby #2 when they are teeny-tiny. (NO, I'm not preggers)

So , here they are, and I haven't washed them or anything. These are chinese unbleached cotton prefolds. The kit also comes with two covers ("plastic pants" if you will) and a Snappi, which replaces pins.

They are much bigger than I thought they would be, even though I know that they will shrink when they wash.


With the covers - one is white and one is SO pretty with flowers (I forgot to capture the snappi, though)



They are in the wash now! I'll try to let everyone know how it goes. Yahoo!
